Record-breaking! 16th generation runs the inn

Innsbruck lies geographically at its feet, its existence obviously close to people's hearts: the "Isserwirt" in Lans. He is truly an old gentleman, born in 1313 (proof in the provincial archives), but he can be proud because the 16th generation - which could at least be a Tyrolean record - is carrying him through a time in which the death of inns is a reality.

Not in his home community with its three inns, but in the surrounding area, time has taken its toll on a number of businesses. But the genuine traditional inn "Isserwirt" stands like a rock in the surf, probably also because its inner life is anything but tough.
