Scary moment at the super-G in Val Gardena/Gröden! ÖSV skier Daniel Danklmaier was well on his way to the podium, but the 31-year-old crashed heavily. The race was then interrupted.

With bib number 18, Danklmaier delivered a solid run and was even on course for the podium at one point, when the 31-year-old lost control and caught a gate. The race was stopped, Danklmaier remained lying in the snow and immediately held his right knee.
