Side mirror driven off, open window: Injured

A traffic accident occurred at a traffic circle in Innsbruck on Wednesday in which a moving car hit the side mirror of another car. The driver of the car (33) was injured by the open window. The police are looking for witnesses.

The Turkish man (33), who lives in Tyrol, was driving on Igler Straße in Innsbruck at around 7.30 pm on Wednesday. Around 200 meters after the traffic circle, an unknown car came towards him and grazed his wing mirror. The other driver drove on without stopping.

Splintered parts thrown into the car
The 33-year-old had his side window open during the accident, which caused splintered parts from the other car to be thrown into the vehicle, according to the investigators. The man suffered injuries to his left little finger and neck.
