This really is a Friday the 13th for a 71-year-old from Großraming: due to heavy rainfall, the farmer slid a hundred meters down a steep meadow from a heavily soaked cart track and crashed into a tree: injured and taken to hospital.

A 71-year-old man from the Steyr-Land district was driving his car downhill on an agricultural cart track in Großraming at around 8 a.m. on Friday. Due to the heavy rainfall and the resulting softened ground, the car left the cart track to the right, slid about 100 meters down a sloping meadow and crashed into a tree.

Flown to Waidhofen
The man was injured to an indeterminate degree and was flown to the Waidhofen/Ybbs regional hospital by the "Christophorus 15" emergency helicopter after receiving first aid.
