Pushed to the ground at a bus stop: Hit and run!

At regulars' tables you would probably hear the words "mess!" and "cheek!", the police have to be more reserved in officialese: "Traffic accident with personal injury and hit-and-run". The fugitive is wanted. Witnesses should come forward!

At 1.40 p.m. on Thursday, a driver drove his company vehicle, a Mercedes Sprinter with Klagenfurt license plates, into a bus stop on the Rosental Straße B85 in Drabunaschach. The 42-year-old got out - and, according to the current state of the investigation, was hit by a vehicle and knocked to the ground.

The Slovenian was left lying seriously injured on the road. After receiving emergency medical treatment, he was flown to Klagenfurt Hospital by the C11 team.

Due to his serious injuries, he is not yet able to provide any information about the accident. The police are looking for witnesses to the accident who may also be able to provide information about the hit-and-run driver's vehicle. Please call the Eberndorf police on 059 133 - 21 43.
