Everyone knows him within the SPÖ, but he is rather unknown outside the party: Diemtar Prammer from Linz wants to succeed the fallen SPÖ politician Klaus Luger (63) and is the leading candidate in the mayoral election. Who is the man who has a good chance of soon governing Austria's third largest city? The "Krone" asked the 50-year-old for an interview on Saturday morning. 

A call on Dietmar Prammer's cell phone at 9.14 a.m. on Saturday morning. We have known since Friday that he wants to become mayor of Linz. The official decisions are to be made on Monday. At first, the 50-year-old doesn't pick up the phone. A WahtsApp message with a request for an interview for the Sunday edition of "Krone" and for krone.at later, the "Krone" reporter's cell phone rings: "Hello, this is Dietmar Prammer."
