Frequency: First mega concert after terror plans

The cancellation of all Vienna concerts by megastar Taylor Swift due to a planned terrorist attack is still making waves, and not just among the "Swifties". 

Tomorrow, superstar Ed Sheeran's performance will cause a rush at the Frequency Festival in St. Pölten - the first major event since the recent incidents, under tightened security measures. The fact is: according to the police, there are currently no concrete indications of a specific threat, but there is an abstract increased risk.

The operational concept has been tightened up and personnel and technology have been upgraded. The police are asking everyone to be vigilant and report any suspicious observations.

"We are taking a relaxed approach to Wednesday. But there will be closer checks, so please bring enough time," says organizer Harry Jenner. Ed Sheeran is a special coup: After 2012 (back then as an unknown afternoon act), he is at Frequency for the second time this year. "We are proud of that," says Jenner.
