Cyclist died in hospital after collision with car

Unfortunately, all hope was in vain: following a collision with a car in Leutasch, a cyclist (75) died in hospital.

The serious accident happened on Monday at 10 a.m. when the cyclist wanted to change from Leutascher Straße to a gravel path running parallel to it.

Initially survived with serious injuries
This resulted in a collision with the car of a 40-year-old man. The cyclist initially survived the accident with serious injuries and was taken to Innsbruck Hospital. According to the police, he died there the day after the accident.
