Out of control: cyclist rammed into e-biker

Early on Saturday morning, a 43-year-old female e-biker sustained minor injuries in a collision in Feldkirch. Her "opponent" was apparently no longer in complete control of his bike.

At around 3.20 a.m., the e-biker was pedaling along Carinagasse in the direction of Feldkirch Regional Hospital. At the same time, a 30-year-old man was riding his bike downhill. He was clearly unable to keep his bike under control. According to the police, an as yet unknown witness is said to have called out to him to dismount - but the cyclist ignored this advice.

He should have listened to his "tipster": Because shortly afterwards, he lost his lane again and rammed into the 43-year-old's e-bike with his handlebars - both parties then crashed, with the e-biker sustaining minor injuries. However, the man who caused the accident didn't care, he immediately got back on his old bike and made off.

The police are now looking for the man. At the time of the incident, he is said to have been wearing a black AC/DC T-shirt, gray shorts and beige-gray flip-flops. Anyone who can provide information about his identity should contact the Feldkirch police station.
