Official: Real’s Luka Modric remains “royal”

It's now official: Luka Modric has extended his contract at Real Madrid for another season, and the Croatian will tie his boots for the "royals" until the summer of 2025.

"Real Madrid and the club have agreed to extend the contract of our captain, who is tied to the club until June 30, 2025," said the Spanish champions in a statement. 

Modric moved to the Spanish capital from Tottenham for 35 million euros in 2012 and has since won the Champions League six times and La Liga four times with Real Madrid. And who knows - maybe another title or two will follow ...
