Bulls celebrate test win on Lijnders’ debut

A successful start for new Salzburg coach Pep Lijnders and his team. The Bulls won the first test match of the preparation against Unterhaching in Anif 3:0 without really shining. Daghim, Kjaergaard and Blank were responsible for the goals of the runners-up. 

First test, first win. Salzburg celebrated a 3-0 win against German third division side Unterhaching on coach Pep Lijnders' debut on the sidelines. In temperatures of around 30 degrees Celsius, the small crowd in Anif saw the Bulls dominate from the start, with new signing Janis Blaswich in goal. However, it was not really dangerous at first. 

It was not until the 43rd minute that Bayern scored for the first time. Liefering youngster Adam Daghim set off on a solo run down the left-hand side and scored to give Bayern the lead. A short time later, Maurits Kjaergaard scored from an indirect free-kick to make it 2:0 and the teams went into the half-time break with the score level. 

Goal debut for Blank
Salzburg started the second half with eleven new players. The picture did not change. The team from Mozartstadt had one or two opportunities, but mostly missed. In the 69th minute, there was then a goal premiere: defender Blank, who has been in Salzburg since the winter, scored with his head after a corner to make it 3:0. 

In the end, it remained a deserved 3:0. The next test gallop will take place next week against Neo-Westliga side Kuchl.
