The 20th edition of the event series in Grossarltal started on Sunday. The anniversary year is being celebrated in a special way this year. Including: sports stars from Salzburg!

The mountains are covered in clouds and there are puddles of rain every few meters along the hiking trail. Nevertheless, dozens of hikers are highly motivated to tackle the two-and-a-half-hour walk from the Sonneggbrücke parking lot to the northernmost mountain pasture in the Grossarl Valley, the Maurachalm. Their goal: to arrive in time for the opening of the alpine summer.
