Another BH chief now vacates his chair

After Olga Reisner in Lienz, the district governor of Innsbruck, Michael Kirchmair, is now also vacating his chair due to "misconduct".  

Kirchmair allegedly engaged in misconduct at a celebration in December 2022, reports ORF Tirol. Disciplinary proceedings are underway against him and he will not be reappointed from July 1, 2024.

New tasks for the state
The state intends to re-advertise the post next week. Kirchmair, who has apologized, is to take on new tasks at the state.

Lienz district governor Olga Reisner was dismissed from her post in April following allegations of abuse of office and employee bullying.
