No rehab for seriously ill woman from Salzburg

A woman in her mid-forties with multiple sclerosis is desperate. She has already been to a rehabilitation center several times, which has helped her poor condition each time. Now her application for "rehab" has been rejected. She finds the Pension Insurance Institution's reasoning discriminatory.

"You are being punished for an illness for which you can do nothing," a woman from Salzburg recently wrote to the "Krone" newspaper. The woman in her mid-forties, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, is desperate. She has care level 5 and lives in a home. While other sick people go to "rehab" after operations, she has found strength there to at least maintain her state of health.
