Attack in retirement home: 70-year-old died

He was in hospital for several days, now he succumbed to his serious injuries. A 70-year-old man did not survive the brutal attacks by his roommate in a retirement home on the Salzburg border.

What happened? On the Whitsun weekend, a 74-year-old man attacked the pensioner in a retirement home in Bayerisch Gmain on the border with Salzburg. He kicked him several times in the head. A nurse called the Red Cross.

The helpers took the seriously injured man to hospital. The public prosecutor's office is investigating the 74-year-old attacker. The motive is unclear.
