The mode of the Bundesliga has benefited Sturm Graz in winning the championship title! 

Without the halving of points after the basic round, the Styrians would have been level on points with Red Bull Salzburg, but the "Bulls" would have been ahead in this case - both the goal difference and the direct duel would have been in favor of the dethroned champions.
