There was a devastating traffic accident in Kirchberg on Tuesday afternoon. A 74-year-old woman crashed head-on into a wall. She had to be flown to hospital by rescue helicopter. The car was totaled.

A 74-year-old Austrian woman crashed her car head-on into a wall in Kirchberg in Tyrol (Kitzbühel district) on Tuesday afternoon and was injured. According to the police, the woman had driven off the side of the road for unknown reasons and collided with two crash barriers.

Bystanders provided first aid
Several uninvolved drivers provided first aid and set the rescue chain in motion. The 74-year-old was flown to hospital in Kufstein by rescue helicopter.
