Posch on the way to the Champions League with Bologna
FC Bologna's first appearance in the Champions League is getting closer!
In the 33rd round of Serie A, the surprise team with Stefan Posch won 3:1 at AS Roma. With one more game to play, the "Rossoblu" coached by Thiago Motta now have an eight-point lead over sixth-placed Atalanta Bergamo. Roma are currently also still in the Champions League in fifth place.
Posch replaced in the 80th minute
Oussama El Azzouzi (14) and Joshua Zirkzee (45) gave Bologna a 2-0 lead at the break. After Sardar Azmoun (56') scored the equalizer, Alexis Saelemaekers (65') made it 3-1 with a lob. Posch was substituted in the 80th minute.
The right-back caused a stir with a save shortly after the break: After a corner kick, Roma's Stephan El Shaarawy took the ball and Posch saved with his head on the line.
