SCR Altach announce first new summer signing
Bundesliga club Altach announced its first new summer signing on Tuesday. U19 team player Diego Madritsch will move to Vorarlberg from second division club Ried on a free transfer at the end of the season, signing a contract in the Ländle until 2027.
The 18-year-old central midfielder has already played eleven games in the Bundesliga and became the youngest Ried goalscorer in the top division in April 2023.
"Diego Madritsch is a young and very creative midfielder who we believe has enormous potential. He has already gained a lot of experience at his young age and we want to offer him the framework conditions to realize his full potential," explained sporting director Roland Kirchler.
"I can hardly wait"
Madritsch: "I am convinced that SCR Altach is the perfect place for my further development. The club offers young talents excellent conditions and has presented me with a clear and convincing plan for the future. I can't wait to take on this new challenge and get to know the club and its fans."
