A fatal traffic accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Salzburg-Berchtesgadener Land border region. The accident victim was from Saalfelden.

A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Saalfelden had a tragic accident on Saturday afternoon. The man was riding his motorcycle on the B305. Coming from Schneizlreuth in the direction of Ramsau, he veered off the road to the right on a left-hand bend. He overturned his motorcycle in the adjacent meadow.

The victim died at the scene of the accident, as the Bad Reichenhall police reported in a press release. According to initial information, the driver was probably driving too fast.
