Austria Lustenau introduces new sports director
Mirco Papaleo will be the new sporting director of Bundesliga club Austria Lustenau from the summer. The Vorarlberg club made the announcement on Thursday. The 34-year-old Italian succeeds Alexander Schneider, who is leaving the club at the end of the season.
Papaleo most recently worked as a scout for Swiss first division club FC Luzern, having previously held the same position at Grasshoppers Zurich.

"Thanks to my work as a scout, I'm very familiar with the Austrian league and I've also visited Lustenau several times in this context. I am firmly convinced that we can achieve a great deal together in Lustenau," he said.
Papaleo will be integrated into the club with a reduced workload with immediate effect before taking over full-time at the end of the season.
