Animal protégés are looking for a new home
The animal corner presents the protégés of the week from the Vorarlberg animal shelter: The two still very agile senior degus (10) are looking for a nice new home together. The social and active rodents Muffin and Brownie are great animals to watch!
The cheeky colored rat girls Black & Darcy (approx. 2) are looking forward to a new species-appropriate home. Rats are clever and social animals. As pack animals, they should never be kept alone. If you have space and a heart for these rodents, you can make an appointment at the animal shelter.
Until now, the beautiful male Amstaff Dusty (3) has sadly not been allowed to experience much and has had to spend a lot of time alone. At first, Dusty is therefore very cautious and shy towards people. But if you give him time and trust, he quickly thaws out and shows a very friendly side. He also joins in with play and loves to be stroked. His strength should not be underestimated, so he needs very consistent people who give him love and security, but also clear rules. Dusty is eager to learn and would be happy to attend dog school.
The affectionate mongrel Yacco (6) loves to spend lots of time with his humans. Whether it's cozy, at home or on long walks or excursions. The main thing is that he can be there. Staying alone is still difficult for this great boy and needs to be trained. If there are children in the household, they should already be a little older and more "stable", as his joyful greetings can be a little more stormy. There should be no cats in the new home as he would love to chase them. Yacco is docile and ready to take on new challenges. He needs special food due to a skin allergy.
