Federation of Austrian Industries has a new Managing Director
The Vorarlberg Federation of Industry has a new Managing Director: Simon Kampl. He was previously the press spokesman for Governor Markus Wallner.
The Executive Committee of the Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) Vorarlberg has appointed Simon Kampl as the new Managing Director from July 2024. Elmar Hartmann, President of IV-Vorarlberg, is delighted with this decision: "Of the many applications we received, Simon Kampl impressed us the most. With his understanding of interest politics, his network, his interest in the industry and his personality, he brings with him important prerequisites for further developing a promising and competitive industrial location together with our members and decision-makers as well as our IV team. With Simon Kampl, we were able to find a strong successor for Christian Zoll in a timely manner, who will be fully committed to us until the handover in the summer."
Simon Kampl, born in 1989, comes from Hard and has been press spokesman for Governor Markus Wallner since 2017. After completing his Master's degree in political science in Innsbruck and working in the Austrian Parliament for four years, Simon Kampl will join the Federation of Austrian Industries in July 2024. Simon Kampl was delighted with the decision of the Executive Board: "I am full of enthusiasm for my new role at IV-Vorarlberg and look forward to working towards strong representation of interests in the interests of IV members. My goal is to work with full commitment for an efficient industrial location in Vorarlberg." Kampl succeeds Christian Zoll. The latter is moving to the label producer Carini in Lustenau.
