Horner case
“Public truce” at Red Bull?
Christian Horner has apparently agreed to a "public truce" in the internal power struggle at Red Bull. This is said to be the result of talks with Horner, Jos Verstappen and Helmut Marko, according to British media reports.
The internal power struggles at Red Bull have overshadowed what should have been a confident start to the season at the racing team. The accusations made by a former employee against team boss Horner continue to hover over the Formula 1 team like the sword of Damocles.
However, according to reports in the Mirror and other British media, the trench warfare should come to an end for the time being. According to these reports, a crisis meeting with Horner, Marko and Jos Verstappen recently set the course for future external communication.
The trio agreed to end the public power struggles in favor of the team. The racing team fears that, despite the successful start, the ongoing disputes will take their toll over the course of the year.
Complaint to the world governing body
Jos Verstappen recently took a public stand against Horner. There were also rumors of Marko leaving the team. However, this would have made the departure of world champion Max Verstappen virtually unavoidable, which is why the team sought a compromise.
How long the "truce" will last remains to be seen. In the meantime, Horner is facing new trouble anyway. The affected employee of the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team has now lodged a complaint with the FIA.
