Sweden: Greta Thunberg taken away by police

Climate activist Greta Thunberg was taken away by police on Tuesday. She had protested outside the Swedish parliament for the second day in a row and blocked the entrance to the building.

As on Monday, the 21-year-old Swede, together with other activists from the group "Fridays For Future", had wanted to draw attention to urgent social crises and the need for immediate and just change.

The demonstrators were initially carried away from the entrance to parliament on Tuesday. Thunberg was then taken away and driven off in a police vehicle. A police spokesperson confirmed that several people were briefly questioned.
