Farm tractor overturned and buried an Alpine farmer underneath it

A terrible accident on a farm in Upper Austria. A 53-year-old man tipped over with his machine. The machine crashed onto his 82-year-old mother, who had been helping him. The woman succumbed to her serious injuries.

Drama on a farm on Saturday afternoon in Feldkirchen an der Donau. A 53-year-old man was working on the land together with his mother (82). The man was driving a so-called Hoftrac - a small, maneuverable implement - when the machine tipped over.

Serious injuries
The machine buried the woman underneath it, the son immediately tried to help and called the rescue and fire department. The 82-year-old woman was eventually rescued and flown to Linz by helicopter, but succumbed to her serious injuries.
