In the battle for the Lorenz Böhler Hospital in Vienna, they are right in the middle of the battle zone: one of the trauma surgeons explains how things are going at the hospital now, why a patient saved at the last moment fills him with energy, what he thinks of his bosses and why he is carrying on.

Trauma surgeon Heinz Brenner is one of the spearheads in the fight against the closure of the Lorenz Böhler Hospital. We spoke to the senior physician at the end of his 24-hour shift at the hospital.
