Reconciliation possible
Harry & Meghan: Warning regarding Kate’s statements
Following King Charles' cancer diagnosis, it appeared as though Prince Harry had a desire to reconnect with his family. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been warned by a PR expert to stop making public comments about Princess Kate after years of feuding with the royal family.
Prince Harry and Meghan appeared to be ready to visit the UK together, with Harry admitting that he planned to reunite with his family after his father, King Charles, was diagnosed with cancer.
Comments about Kate are currently inappropriate
However, PR expert Ryan McCormick has urged the couple not to make any public comments about Princess Kate ahead of her return to avoid speculation about her health.
"Anything they say would be over-analyzed"
Speaking to The Mirror, PR expert Ryan McCormick explained why Meghan and Harry should be wary of the wild theories surrounding Catherine. "It would be best for Harry and Meghan not to make any public comments about Kate," McCormick said. Even with public wishes for recovery, the Sussexes would be better off holding back.
"Anything they say would be over-analyzed and if they wished Kate a speedy recovery, speculation about what's going on behind the scenes would run rampant," said the PR expert, who believes that Harry and Meghan could only win over the royal family if they kept quiet now.
He does not rule out a reconciliation between the Sussexes and the royals. "The Duchess and Duke can slowly begin to potentially win back the trust of the royal family by doing exactly what they are told to do," explained McCormick.
Wild speculation surrounding Kate
Whether an affair, bottom surgery or coma - wild speculation circulated on social media platforms such as X about Princess Kate's health and whereabouts. The palace also responded to these rumors at the beginning of March.
A royal spokesperson said: "Kensington Palace clarified the timeframe for the Princess's recovery in January and stated that we will only release information if there are significant developments. We remain committed to this policy." The Princess of Wales remains "well".
