After eleven years with Repsol Honda, MotoGP star Marc Márquez will be racing for Gresini Racing this year together with his brother Alex. After all this time in orange and red, taking a seat on a lilac-colored Ducati is still a little strange, the eight-time world champion admits.

Special atmosphere
A family atmosphere awaits the 31-year-old at Gresini, which is one of the reasons why Márquez has only taken one of his Repsol colleagues with him. "You have to get into the mood, and that's exactly the atmosphere here," says the Catalan. "It's a team where you have fun, where everyone celebrates birthdays and neither the rider nor the team manager nor anyone else is spared."

The fact that Márquez can call his brother his teammate in light of this perfectly rounds off the family atmosphere. "As the Márquez family, we hope that we can bring them many trophies," says Marc. "We will try to bring them lots of good news and joy." The brothers will have their first opportunity to do so on March 9, when the first world championship points will be awarded in the Qatar sprint.
