Skiing wreck sells clothes for comeback
Giving up? No way! Aline Danioth, who tore her cruciate ligament for the fourth time last year, is on her way back to the Ski World Cup. Along the way, she has developed a new logo and is selling clothing on her homepage. Everything for the comeback!
Switzerland's Aline Danioth suffered a serious injury around a year ago: She tore her cruciate ligament for the fourth time. "It feels like a nightmare," said Danioth at the time.
But she didn't give up! "It's going brilliantly, my knee is doing great. It's now been two months since I got back on skis. I'll soon be training with the slalom gates again," she says in an interview with Blick. "It's not enough for this season yet. Because I've injured my knee so often, I want to take my time."
"I'm investing the money in my comeback"
She has made good use of her free time alongside her rehab. Danioth developed her own new logo in the shape of a lion. This adorns sweaters, T-shirts, caps and hats that she sells on her website. "I'm investing the money in my comeback," says Danioth.
