Mölzer: “Enough with the war rhetoric”
In the current "duel" on krone.tv between Eva Glawischnig and Andreas Mölzer, one of the issues discussed is whether the Austrian army is fit for war. Ex-FPÖ European politician Andreas Mölzer: "There is only talk of war everywhere, it's like the time before the First World War and can take on an extreme momentum of its own."
He continues: "I am a friend of military national defense. So away from war, away from the rhetoric of war." The arms deliveries to Ukraine are also not expedient. In this context, Eva Glawischnig reports on hundreds of bunkers that are currently being built in the Baltic States to protect against a possible Russian war of aggression.
The two duelists also discuss the provocation of art that is currently taking place around the Salzkammergut. On the one hand with the Powder Dance, where dancing naked people dust each other with powder on stage, and on the other hand with the shocking giant photos of children that Gottfried Helnwein has had painted on buildings in Gmunden. Glawischnig: "Austria was sleepy when it came to art. The dusty stuff had to go, people wanted to shake things up and provoke." Mölzer adds: "But you can't shake people up with provocation these days. Naked actors in the Burgtheater no longer upset anyone these days."
