41-year-old attacks Styrian with beer bottle

Wild scenes took place on Griesplatz in Graz on Saturday morning: a Somali man (41) hit a 42-year-old man with a beer bottle. The attacker was arrested for attempted murder.

The two opponents clashed in a pub on Griesplatz on Saturday morning: the Somali resident in Graz hit the 42-year-old man from the Graz area on the head with a beer bottle.

Minor injuries
The bottle broke due to the force, as a result of which the 41-year-old attacked the victim with the broken bottle. The 42-year-old suffered minor injuries to his neck and chest.

Man does not confess
The suspect did not offer any resistance when he was arrested by police officers from Graz main station. The victim refused medical treatment. By order of the Graz public prosecutor's office, the suspect was taken to Graz-Jakomini correctional institution on suspicion of attempted murder. The man has not confessed.
