Farmers’ Union Ball: which celebrities celebrated their premiere

"Socializing with Styrian wine" - this was the motto under which many celebrities mingled with the 16,000 guests at the Styrian Farmers' Union Ball. For Mario Kunasek it was a premiere as governor, and one high-flyer finally made it to Graz - others have long been regular guests. 

For Mario Kunasek, it was his first Bauernbundball as governor. "An incredible event - pure Styrian joie de vivre, what more could you want?" Of course, his deputy Manuela Khom was also there - Agriculture Minister Norbert Totschnig came from Vienna.

Also spotted: Grawe boss Klaus Scheitegel and honorary president Franz Harnoncourt-Unverzagt, Sturm president Christian Jauk and oil multinational Rudi Roth.

Raiffeisen Styria boss Martin Schaller, who stopped by with fellow board member Ariane Pfleger, the indestructible Jazz Gitti, the Styrian Chamber of Commerce delegation led by Styrian Vice President Gabi Lechner and colleague Andreas Herz, FPÖ club leader Marco Triller and former Sturm coach Franco Foda also made sure they didn't miss the evening.

Ski jumping legend Hupo Neuper from Bad Mitterndorf made his debut. "Tonner Franz (organizer of the Bauernbundball, editor's note) has been calling me for 20 years. It's crazy what goes on here."
