Woman swindled pension money from abroad

A 71-year-old woman has to answer for serious fraud in court in St. Pölten. The Hungarian woman collected pension payments in this country while she was in her home country. 

A 71-year-old woman is said to have unjustly received more than 80,000 euros in pension payments over a period of years. The Hungarian woman preferred to stay in her home country instead of her registered place of residence in Mostviertel. And she did so without informing the authorities. Her ex-partner had the cash transfers of her pension money paid out and then transferred the money to her account.

Now the 71-year-old woman and her 58-year-old "accomplice" had to answer to the court for serious fraud. And became increasingly entangled in contradictions. The two did not even agree on the question of how long they had not been a couple.

Trial was adjourned
The accused's daughter, who is living abroad, could also play a role: Money was also transferred to her, and her mother's ATM card was also in her possession. The trial was adjourned due to repeated excuses. Opening an account and questioning the daughter should bring clarity.
