Christian Koprolin has been organizing balls at the Hofburg for 30 years. He knows the recipe for a glittering night at the ball and explains in the "Krone" why guests can celebrate without worrying

"Krone": How long have you been organizing the balls at the Hofburg?
Christian Koprolin: 1996 was my first ball season, so next year it will be 30 years.

What exactly is your job as project manager?
We plan the ball together with the organizers, which usually starts in spring when the organizers come to us with their initial ideas. Then things really get going in mid-summer. I have to register employees, meet with organizers and implement their wishes.
