She succeeded in convincing her 56-year-old victim that she had divination and occult powers. Her plan: to get her victim's money by any means necessary.

To put the 56-year-old under pressure, she not only claimed that the woman was cursed, but also that there would be a death in the family if the Viennese woman did not pay the money. In total, the unknown fraudster demanded cash from the woman three times, and the money was handed over in Vienna and Baden.

It has now also been established how much money the victim handed over to the fraudster: As the "Krone" learned, it is 700,000 euros. The case is being investigated for serious fraud.

The police have now published a sketch of the perpetrator and are asking the public for help.
