Female biker (19) crashes head on into crash barrier: dead

Poor parents! A 19-year-old from the district of Perg had a fatal accident while riding her motorcycle on the B3 near Saxen on Friday morning. For unknown reasons, the girl crashed her bike and hit her head against a crash barrier.

A 19-year-old from the district of Perg was riding her motorcycle on the B3 Donaubundesstraße coming from Grein towards Perg at around 9.50 am on Friday. At the same time, a 51-year-old man from the district of Perg was driving his car in the opposite direction.

For reasons as yet unknown, the 19-year-old crashed in the Dornach area in the municipality of Saxen and hit her head against the crash barrier.

Motorcycle skidded into car
The motorcycle skidded into the oncoming lane against the 51-year-old's car. Despite immediately initiating resuscitation measures, the emergency doctor was unfortunately only able to determine the 19-year-old's death a short time later.
