Foot in the face! Horrific scene at Turkey match

A shocking scene occurred in the Nations League duel between Turkey and Wales. Caglar Söyüncü hit opponent Kieffer Moore in the face with his foot. The Welshman had to be treated for a long time afterwards and then returned with a bandage. 

The clash between Turkey and Wales had already been characterized by fouls and altercations. In the heated atmosphere, there was also an intense duel between former Freiburg defender Söyüncü and attacking player Moore. 

As a result of the intense fight for the ball, Söyüncü accidentally hit his opponent, who had fallen to the ground, in the face with his foot. The TV showed how the defender was unable to stop and landed studs-first in the Welshman's face. 

Moore played on even further
The impact was with full force, and the attendants rushed over immediately. Moore had to be treated for several minutes. He eventually returned to the pitch with a bloodied turban. With only a few minutes left to play, the Welshman even finished the game, clearly shaken.

Söyüncü apologized for the scene and the two opponents embraced after the match. Meanwhile, fans criticized the decision to send Moore back onto the pitch. Only further examinations will show how serious the Sheffield United striker's injuries are.
