A microsleep on the Mieminger Bundesstraße on Wednesday morning in Nassereith (Imst district) had serious consequences! The driver of a car (40) drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into the side of a truck. His 14-year-old daughter was seriously injured.

The 40-year-old Albanian was driving his car on the Mieminger Bundesstraße together with three other family members shortly after 7 am. He probably dozed off briefly after the so-called "Mischwerk curve".

The driver's 14-year-old daughter suffered injuries of indeterminate severity as a result of the accident and was taken to hospital in Innsbruck by rescue helicopter.
