Over two per mille on an e-bike: seriously injured

A man (49) had to be taken to hospital on Wednesday with serious head injuries after he fell off his e-bike while overtaking. The alcohol test was positive.

A German man (49) living in the Tyrolean lowlands had a serious fall from his e-bike on Wednesday. The man was overtaking a group of pedestrians on the cycle path in the direction of Maurach when he left the road, fell and lay motionless.

Pedestrians provide first aid
The pedestrians immediately provided first aid and set the rescue chain in motion. The German had to be taken to hospital with serious head injuries. A breathalyzer test was positive: the accident victim even had over two per mille.
