Two speeders caught: driving licenses forfeited

Two drivers' licenses were confiscated on the spot in Tyrol on Wednesday due to massive speeding. A 53-year-old was overtaking too fast, while a 20-year-old was speeding at 63 km/h too fast.

When overtaking, a 53-year-old was speeding on the Eibergerstraße in the direction of Söll. He was driving at 127 km/h in the municipal area at the speed limit of 70 km/h. The driver's license was temporarily confiscated on the spot and he was reported to the police.

A 20-year-old was driving even faster on the Felbertauernstraße: he exceeded the speed limit of 100 km/h by 63 km/h. He also had his driver's license temporarily confiscated on the spot. His driver's license was also confiscated on the spot and he will also be charged.
