Salzburg’s Oscar Gloukh is going to Paris

This comes as quite a surprise! Oscar Gloukh will take part in the Olympic Games in Paris. Salzburg have given the Israeli attacking player the go-ahead. As a result, the 20-year-old will miss important parts of the preparation and the Bulls' first competitive match.

The Olympic soccer tournament runs from July 24 to August 9. Gloukh and Israel are in Group D and will play against Japan, Paraguay and Mali. The biggest favorites at the tournament are hosts France, Spain and Argentina. 

The event will be closely followed in Salzburg. Gloukh, who is regarded as a child prodigy in Israel, will definitely miss the first competitive match of the new season with the Bulls, the guest appearance at FC Dornbirn in the ÖFB Cup. When he will return to the city of Mozart depends on the success of the Asians in France.
