Completely spoiled food discovered in a truck

The police and MA 46 made a gruesome discovery during a traffic check in Vienna on Tuesday. A completely overloaded truck had been carrying 300 kilograms of food such as prawns, spring rolls, duck and chicken, which had also not been sufficiently cooled.

 During the priority action, the Vienna Market Office and the Municipal Department for Traffic Organization and Technical Traffic Matters (MA 46) discovered that all the frozen products were being transported completely undercooled. 

Chicken meat 13.3 degrees warm
Frozen dumplings, for example, were only measured at a temperature of minus 0.7 degrees. Surface measurements on the chicken meat even showed temperatures of up to plus 13.3 degrees, which is far above the maximum permitted temperature for the transportation of frozen goods. All the food was therefore disposed of and the driver was banned from continuing the journey.
