Flight to Malmö: Rave queen Kaleen takes off

The red-white-red song contestant from Upper Austria flew to Malmö on Sunday, where she will take to the ESC stage on Monday for a first rehearsal of her song "We Will Rave". 

Goodbye, Austria - hello Sweden! On Sunday, Kaleen and the Austrian delegation left Vienna/Schwechat airport for Malmö. There, the months-long preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest will enter the home straight. The first rehearsal on the big Song Contest stage in the Malmö Arena is already scheduled for Monday afternoon.

"We've been preparing for this for so long, and now I'm just full of anticipation for Malmö and to stand on the ESC stage for the first time and experience it all," said Kaleen on her departure.

She had just given two live performances in one evening on Friday, so a two-week stay in Sweden comes in handy, as she reveals with a wink: "It's nice to be in the same place for two weeks after all the promotional trips in the run-up."
