Death drama for young mother, now donation concert

Madlen K. (33) died completely unexpectedly, leaving behind three little boys. Local musicians want to raise money for the bereaved sons with a benefit concert in Vienna-Simmering.

Incredible tragedy for Henrik (6), Dominik (5) and Markus (2). Together with their father Herbert, they found their mother dead in bed early in the morning at the beginning of March. The normally healthy 33-year-old had died suddenly during the night from a pulmonary embolism.

No work due to caring responsibilities
The happy family is suddenly torn apart, the children traumatized. Herbert now has to look after his young sons on his own. This is also a financial burden for the asphalt worker at a construction company. He is unable to work for the time being because of his care duties.

Musicians such as Peter Diamond, Richi Nagy and Karl Zacek waive their fees and give a concert at the Neugebäude shelter in Simmering on 11 May - organized by the Mit Musik zur Menschlichkeit association.

Help for children and father
Chairwoman and "Krone-Herzensmensch 2022" Ingrid Musil: "We are doing this for the children. They need psychological help, but the health insurance company is reluctant." The evening will be hosted by singer Angela Neubauer and event manager Thomas Hetlinger.

The net proceeds from admission and the raffle with lots of prizes will go to the boys. Tickets (around 15 euros) and information on 0650/401 33 05.
