Man (22) jumped over railing during escape

A 22-year-old man fled from the police on Monday when the officers wanted to execute a warrant. The man jumped over a railing from the second floor as he fled.

In close consultation with the Bregenz District Court and after investigations by Wolfurt police, the 22-year-old man was found in an apartment in Wolfurt. When the officers made themselves known, the man jumped over a railing from the second floor to the first floor and fled on foot. The police initially lost visual contact with the man, which is why additional patrols and the air police were called in for the manhunt.

Man arrested
Due to the psychological pressure that had built up, the man revealed himself after a short time and was arrested shortly afterwards. He was forcibly taken to the Bludenz police detention center to serve his sentence. A total of six patrols and a police helicopter from the federal police were involved in the operation.
