Good news from the "Godfather of Austropop"! Wolfgang Ambros has been discharged from hospital and is already back home in his beloved Tyrol.

His fans were very worried when music legend Wolfgang Ambros had to cancel his "birthday concerts" at short notice. An infection was to blame for the fact that he also had to spend his birthday on March 19 in hospital. There he could be monitored with an ECG.

"I'm feeling much better"
But now everything is fine again. The 72-year-old posted a photo of himself on social media, where he made it clear that "I'm doing much better."

"Rest and recovery"
He is already back at home and is being lovingly nursed back to health by his wife Uta so that the Austro legend can return to the stage on April 10 as planned.

"I'm using the time until the concerts - which I'm really looking forward to - to fully regain my strength with rest and recuperation," he wrote with the photo of him sitting at the kitchen table at home with his wife.
