Five injured in accident with police car in Vienna

In the 20th district of Brigittenau in Vienna, a white van rammed into a police car on Wednesday evening. Five people were injured, including a pregnant woman (27). The vehicle came to rest on its side, as can be seen in a photo.

According to information from Krone, the accident occurred at the junction of Jägerstraße and Pappenheimgasse. According to media reports, a white Volkswagen Tiguan crashed into the side of a police car. The minibus landed on a black Mercedes, which was on the opposite side of the road at the red light at the time of the accident.

Within a few minutes, numerous emergency services from the Vienna Professional Rescue Service were on the scene. According to "Heute", five people were injured, including a pregnant woman (27), a small child (2), another woman and two men. The child was returned to his family after initial treatment, the pregnant woman had to be taken to hospital.
