Rabid brother jumped through a glass door

It was actually a harmless operation due to noise disturbance. But it escalated in Steyr (Upper Austria) and ended with two police officers injured and two Afghans in custody. One of the brothers even jumped through a glass door to attack police officers.

Noise disturbance: An everyday police operation in Steyr-Münichholz got completely out of hand - in the end, two officers were injured and a pair of Afghan brothers were arrested. The older asylum seeker (25) greeted the police officers with an attack shortly before 10 p.m., jumped on one of them and clutched him. The scuffle could only be ended and the 25-year-old arrested with the use of pepper spray.

But that wasn't all: because there were other party guests in the apartment, the police closed the door to the corridor. But that didn't stop the arrested man's younger brother. The 21-year-old jumped through the glass towards the officers, grabbed one of the shards of glass lying around and used it to attack one of the other police officers who had been called in for backup. They were eventually able to bring the thuggish brother to the ground and arrest him.

The reason for the attack out of the blue during what was actually a harmless operation is still unclear, and the other Afghans and Iranians present in the apartment were not much help in the investigation.
