Meeting legends Kalt and Jagr

KAC great Dieter Kalt met all the old stars of European ice hockey in Prague. Including NHL legend Jaromir Jagr. "At the last World Championship, he was a regular at the casino every night!"

Dieter Kalt junior had an unforgettable experience in the last two days in Prague when he met the greatest European ice hockey legends. "I was chosen as an ambassador for the upcoming World Championship from May 10 to 26 in Prague. We shot videos, gave interviews and chatted about the good old days," says KAC legend Dieter.

Still active at the age of 52
The list of participants was unique. Even Jaromir Jagr, who is still playing in Kladno (Czech Republic) at the age of 52, was there. Jaromir had just returned from Pittsburgh, where his number 68 will never be assigned again. Jagr scored the second most points in NHL history with 1921.

His new girlfriend is three decades younger. "So she hasn't even seen my greatest deeds," smiles Jagr, who also met Mario Lemieux. The Slovakian Marjan Hossa had the same honor in Chicago. Uwe Krupp and Jari Kurri (who won the Stanley Cup five times with Wayne Gretzky) were also there in Prague.

Long casino nights
Kalt and Jagr stayed in the same hotel at the last World Championship in Prague in 2004. "Jaromir was in the casino every night. He doesn't like to talk about it," laughs Kalt.
